Flight simulators for Amiga 600

Post by PanzerGeneral »

I played simulators on eight-bit computers (Atari 65XE): "Silent Service", "Tomahawk", "F15 Strike Eagle", "Solo Flight". On 16/32-bit computers, they didn't pull me in anymore. It is a bit strange, because since I liked the first "Silent Service", I should like the second "Silent Service" even more, because it is the same but several times better in every respect.
But maybe it's because after the Atari 65XE I bought an Amiga, which (paradoxically) I never associated with games and I didn't use it for playing.

Well, the simpler ones were still manageable. "Silent Service II" looked a thousand times better than the number one but it was played similarly.
Of course, they were also very complicated, such as "Shuttle: The Space Flight Simulator". But I do not even mention them, because "Shuttle" is difficult even with today's professional simulators. wide smile I do not know how it was possible to release something that only NASA technicians working directly on space flights can play.
Legend of old are still alive.

B17 flyinng fortress ... numeric keypad for external view only .. rotate, zoom
The game has 21 missions (as long as it doesn't catch you after shooting down) .. it's great I switched to the A600 HD a few times
I do not recommend playing with floppy disks because it reads a lot
I'm gonna direct a movie someday...

S2000, Combat Air Pilot, Dogfight (fighter fights from different eras, but I was also drawn to the F-16 Combat Pilot (maybe it's a love of the F-16)
Oh, and a mandatory bridge flight in F / A-18 Interceptor with brilliant title music OK

From the latest Amiga decay games: Dawn Patrol, Overlord and Tornado, but I barely licked Overlord.
i know that i know nothing at all.

I personally have good memories of the MDW simulator with C64 times, which is also on Amiga Fighter Bimber :)
And the fastest simulators for Amige's goal are F29 and Polish Desert Wolf

Ps.some of these gingerbread cookies today are available in the browser
This is my little place of internet.

Desert Wolf is an arcade game. Nothing to do with the simulator.

I recommend ALL Microprose simulations, maybe except the Subwar 2050 (forcing the conversion from PC, and probably only AGA, so 600 is out).
i'm gonna kill all you joy.

I also recommend the F / A 18 Interceptor. The numeric keypad is needed to change the camera from what I remember, and you can play the A600 anyway. Unlike many of the other games mentioned here, this one is an Amiga exclusive, hasn't been released on any other platform, and runs briskly on the regular 68,000.
I't does not compute....
