SFS and PFS

Post by Oldgirls »

I think so too - this aio was crazy about me on the bare A1200 with just fast.
And a long time ago I used AFS and it was cool - little memory fidgeted.
And now it's hanging on these systems - I have a CF4gb card when it collapses, it does validation quite quickly - and if something falls apart, I have a backup of the entire card under the PC, which I do every now and then as I make more changes to the disk. Fast File System eats the least memory and works well with a CF card too.
WE all are OLD.

Ah, and let's not forget about "deldir" - great thing about PFS (at least the one I used). Accidentally deleted a file or even overwritten? Deldir - and you list the last 1000 files, you transfer to disk and you have it. PFS never seems to have saved the same file in the same location.
