Welcome.
A question about two-player games where both players play simultaneously but cooperate against the machine. Do you know these on C64?
I had the longest gaming adventure on NES (Pegasus) and my top games of this type there are Battle City and Contra.

There are more 2players games that you compete in, but a few that you can co-op.
For me and the young man, No. 1 is Endless Forms Most Beautiful.
and then:
Wizard of Wor
Ikari Warriors
Bubble Bobble

Enlighten them all and see for yourself, but be warned EFMB is addictive: shock: 8)

RODLAND - rocket game, hundreds of hours 'lost' with my wife on real C64. Full simultaneous cooperation of 2 players vs CPU

I signed up for my research checklist. And do you associate something like Battle City with NES?

We lost a little with the young one, and it is actually a nice game. Thanks for the tip.

But I can see that in Rodland there is only a game of alternation: once player 1, once player 2. You can't do both at the same time, but I missed something. :?

You missed something. It can be 2 at the same time.

Years later, I fired my C64 ... Between floppy disks I found another two cool games for 2 players playing simultaneously:
