The wind lashed the face of the black-bearded man who, standing at the top of the fortress tower, was looking at the vast forests at his feet. He was looking at the land called Hyperborea. And he wanted to build an empire. Empire of Nemedia. In the inaccessible, wild mountains, on the border of Nemedia and Asgard, among the forests, there were lost abode of warriors, albeit small in numbers. It was a terrible tribe. Cruel and barbaric. Hidden in gloomy strongholds, they spent the winter on numerous power games, to start a plundering dance in spring and, dripping with the blood of their enemies, rejoice at the victories of others. But even for this people, who bear the name of Cimmerians, hard times have come. Behold, the king of Nemedia wanted to enlarge his empire, and he was preparing his great army for the expedition. The spirit of war began to float in the air. Therefore, the peoples who feared an armed attack, secretly formed a military alliance in order to oppose the enemy force more easily. So, in great secret, the chiefs of the principalities and tribes of the surrounding tribes came to the fortress of Agohna, king of Aquilonia. There, in a secret chamber, an alliance was formed, which the posterity used to call the Justice System. Falagos, Prince Poitain, Therak, Duke of Asgard, and Conan, chief of the Cimmerians, joined forces with Agohn's forces to fight Nemedia together. Unfortunately! The spies of the empire, having discovered the plot, and in a cruel attack cut the thread of Agohn's life, Conan sought out the murderers and punished them with the consent of the people of Aquilonia and sat on the princely throne. However, his reign began with a military expedition, because the forces of Vanaheim, allied with Nemedia, set off on Asgard, causing great havoc and shedding the blood of innocent people. This is how the god of beef knocked on the gates of Hyperborea.

We have an unusual tactical game ahead of us. The unconventional place of action and the specific nature of the described conflict make this game more interesting than dozens of other tactical games. Two players, having at their disposal armed units (cavalry, infantry, catapults, etc.), try to settle the war conflict in their favor. The King of Aquilonia has at his disposal Asgard troops (famous for their great bows), Cimmerians (very strong combat strength), Poitain archers and the indigenous Aquilonia troops. The Nemedia Empire uses the services of Vanaheim axmen (great combat strength), Ophir crossbowmen and mercenaries from the kingdom of Koth. Units can exist in four different formations, the proper use of which is of great importance during combat. In a marching pattern, movement points are increased by 50%. The form of the attack has a positive effect on effectiveness. The defense formation works similarly. The unit left in the camp, far from hostilities, is powered by newly recruited soldiers (thus increasing its numbers, combat strength and condition). The effectiveness of the branch depends on the terrain on which it is located. Cavalry and heavy infantry work best outdoors. Light infantry is very effective at attacking from the hill. Catapults used by the army are of little importance during the war. They are only useful when destroying fortifications that are manned by the enemy, but without causing casualties. All the information I gave you is very helpful during the game. However, remember that the path to victory is first and foremost the right tactic. Good luck and may the ancient gods protect you.
